Recentemente lançado pela primeira vez em CD pela fantástica Garden Of Delights, o Übermorgen foi o primeiro e único álbum do Surgery, uma banda alemã obscura da cidade de Marl. Formado em setembro de 1976 a partir de outra banda chamada Torageru, o Surgery tocava um jazz-fusion inteiramente instrumental de finíssima qualidade com arranjos complexos e altamente criativos, provavelmente um dos melhores grupos do gênero da Alemanha, mas que infelizmente não teve a chance de ao menos atrair alguma gravadora. Com várias trocas de integrantes, a banda chegou a ter sete integrantes com os quais o Übermorgen foi gravado, cujas composições eram de maioria do talentoso guitarrista Herbert Klinger. E sendo finalmente lançado em CD, este álbum agora contém algumas faixas bônus ao vivo de diversas datas.

Recently released for the first time on CD by the fantastic label Garden Of Delights, Übermorgen was the first and only album by Surgery, an obscure German band from Marl. Formed in September 1976 out of another band called Torageru, Surgery played an entirely instrumental and energetic jazz-fusion of the highest caliber full of complex and highly creative arrangements, probably one of the best German groups of the genre, although they sadly didn't manage to attract any label interest. With many line-up changes, the band became as big as a septet, with whom Übermorgen was recorded, whose compositions were mostly made by the highly gifted guitarrist Herbert Klinger. And finally being released on CD, this album now features many previously unreleased live bonus tracks from many dates.
