Esse chegou aqui da Amazon na semana passada e é a remaster mais recente do Zeit, o terceiro álbum do Tangerine Dream. Ele foi lançado originalmente como um vinil duplo em que cada lado correspondia a uma faixa inteira, como no Tales do Yes. Ele foi bastante subestimado porque era obviamente diferente de tudo que se ouvia na época, mas hoje em dia ele é tido pela crítica como o primeiro clássico do Tangerine Dream.

O álbum original trazia como convidados: Steve Schroyder, ex-integrante da banda e que participou da gravação do 'Alpha Centauri', o álbum anterior; Florian Fricke do Popol Vuh, outro grupo alemão bastante reconhecido no gênero do eletrônico progressivo; e os cellistas do Hölderlin, uma banda também alemã de folk psicodélico.

E além da remaster do álbum original, há um disco bônus com um show feito na cidade de Colônia para ser transmitido pela rádio WDR. Antes essa gravação estava disponível como bootleg da série Tangerine Tree, reconhecida pela própria banda, mas agora foi finalmente oficializada com o lançamento deste álbum.

This one arrived here last week from Amazon and it is the latest remaster of Zeit, Tangerine Dream's third album. It was originally released a double record issue on which each vinyl side corresponded to a whole track, just like on Yes' Tales. It was very underrated because it obviously sounded a lot of different from everything ever heard on those times, but nowadays it is considered by the critics as Tangerine Dream's first true classic.

The original album featured guests like: Steve Schroyder, former member who also took of the recording of 'Alpha Centauri', their previous album; Florian Fricke of Popol Vuh, another German group widely recognized in the progressive electronic genre; and the cellists of Hölderlin, a psychedelic folk German band.

And besides the original album remaster, there's a bonus disc with a concert played in Cologne to be broadcast by WDR. This recording was previously available as a FM-sourced bootleg from the Tangerine Tree series - recognized by the band - however now it was finally oficialized on this reissue.
