Raridade redescoberta há algum tempo, mas que só foi lançada recentemente. Trata-se de um show do Hawkwind em Cambridge no início de 1972 gravado por dois estudantes da Universidade de Cambridge, que dispunham de um gravador Revox de fita de rolo e dois microfones que foram colocados atrás do palco e próximos aos alto-falantes. Felizmente o show completo foi gravado e preservado, e apesar de ter sido gravado quase que da mesma maneira que um bootleg, a qualidade sonora é excelente considerando a época. Os vocais são praticamente inaudíveis, mas pelo menos não há distorções. Enfim, totalmente imperdível pros fãs de space rock.

ENGLISH:
A rarity rediscovered some time ago which was officially released just recently. It's a Hawkwind live concert in Cambridge on early 1972 recorded by two students of Cambridge University, who displayed of a Revox open reel recorded and a pair of microphones which were placed behind the stage and close to the PAs. Fortunatly the concert was entirely recorded and preserved, and in despite of being recorded almost like a bootleg, the sound quality is excellent considering its age. The vocals are barely audible, but at least there aren't distorcions. Anyway, a completely must-have for space rock fans.



Recorded live using a Revox ¼" reel-to-reel recorder with a stereo microphone pair placed on stage at Cambridge Corn Exchange, Cambridge, England, on January 27th 1972
