Ange é considerado por alguns como a banda progressiva mais importante da França. Seu som mesclava rock progressivo - tendo similaridades com Genesis e King Crimson - com o folk francês acompanhado de letras sarcásticas cantadas de forma teatral. Não é à tôa que quase todos seus álbuns dos anos 70 são considerados obras-primas essenciais a qualquer fã de progressivo sinfônico. Porém, o que temos hoje é um raro bootleg da banda gravado em Biel-Bienne, na Suíça, em 1974, trazendo repertório dos três primeiros álbuns. A qualidade sonora não é tão boa, mas é suficientemente satisfatória para apreciar a banda.

Ange is considered by some as the most importante progressive group in France. Their sound was a blend of progressive rock - in the veins of Genesis and King Crimson - with French folk accompanied by sarcastic lyrics sang in a theatrical manner. As being a great source of creativity, almost all of their 70s albums are considered essential masterpieces for any symphonic progressive fan. However, what we have today is a rare bootleg recorded live in Biel-Benne, Switzerland, in 1974, featuring tracks from their three first albums. The sound quality is not that good, but it is great enough to appreciate the band.
