Quando o puteiro tava no Wordpress, eu tinha postado dois álbuns ao vivo do Xhol em 1970, um em Essen e o outro em Altena, mas hoje eu trouxe o primeiro álbum deles - digo, o primeiro somente com o nome 'Xhol' (depois de Soul Caravan e Xhol Caravan) - que também foi gravado ao vivo! Impressionante a quantidade de músicas improvisadas que essa banda criou, o que ela tinha uma verdadeiro espírito do free jazz, muito embora fosse adicionado um toque psicodélico às suas músicas.

Apesar de ser importante, esse álbum só foi relançado oficialmente pela Garden of Delights em 2002, mais de 30 anos depois do lançamento do vinil original. Infelizmente as fitas master se perderam no tempo, mas o áudio foi cuidadosamente remasterizado a partir da digitalização de um vinil em ótimas condições.

Hello freaks,

By the time the brothel was at Wordpress I had posted two Xhol live albums of two 1970 concerts, one in Essen and the other in Altena, but for today I've brought their first album - I mean, the first one solely under the name 'Xhol' (after changing from Soul Caravan and Xhol Caravan) - which was also recorded during a live performance! Impressive is the amount of improvised songs this band created, what shows that they had a true free jazz spirit, even though some psychedelic touches were additioned to their compositions.

In despite of being historically important, this album was only officially reissued by Garden of Delights in 2002, over 30 years after the original vinyl debut. Sadly the master tapes were lost as the time went by, however the audio was carefully remastered from the transcription of a vinyl in mint conditions.

Anyway, shut the fuck up and get high!
