Pell Mell: From The New World (1973) {1993 Unofficial Reissue} [FLAC] - REPOST

• ENGLISH:
Hello freaks,

By the time the brothel was at Wordpress, I had posted Pell Mell's debut album, Marburg, now available again on the 'lost files' list, however today I brought the second studio work of this which was one of the greatest German symphonic prog exponents. Pell Mell was a band characterized by using many classic music elements, what really contributed to their highly refined musical style. The violin was more present on their songs than the guitar, even more after their guitarrist's departure from the band after the release of their first album. Consequently, on this album, the violin in fact replaces the guitar and it is used alongside the keyboards for the uncountable melodical parts.

In despite of being incredible, it seems that this album has never been officially issued on CD. The only existent CD version of this álbum was made by Germanofon, which on the early 90s illegally reissue many out-of-catalogue albums of German bands. Not a dime from the sales went to the artists and all the CDs were made from transcriptions from the original vinyls - that were not always in good conditions and probably came from the collection of Germanofon's owner, who is currently "retired" in South Africa.

The sound quality of this CD is not the best, you can realise it by the background hiss. Besides, avoid all the Germanofon CDs, unless the album you're looking for has never been officially reissued, such as this one.

Anyway, that's it and enjoy it.
