Roky Erickson And The Aliens - I Think Of Demons – 1980 - US - Rock & Roll, Hard Rock, Horror Rock, Psychedelic Rock - vinyl - 16-48 - alac - Edsel Records – ED 222 – 1987 reissue
This excellent album, certainly Roky's best post-Elevators, was released in 1980 as Roky Erickson & The Aliens, but Edsel Records decided—I don't know why—to change the title, but they added two bonus tracks!
This rip sounds much better than the 1987 CD, which has a DR12 but is compressed...
Enjoy!

THOUSANDS THANKS FOR THIS ONE!!! THE ONLY ONE I HAD BEEN MISSING FROM ROCKY & ALIENS EVEN IN MP3 FORMAT!!!!
ResponderExcluirThank you! Great album! I listened to it dozens of times when it came out!
ExcluirHad it but Flac archive is wellcome. Thanks Rawk.
ExcluirGood! Thank you!
ExcluirDOPE ASS rawkin' dog!!!!! I've posted much of theirs but not known this. BTW I have finally convinced myself that recording in 24 bit then having to go back to 44.1 for my Magix final WAV edits does not detract the sound. As you know 48 khz had to be made to match sound to pixel for DVD's as DVD needed minimum of that for its resolution. Humans can't hear above 44.1. Anyhow you definitely got the method on your end for sound quality! Looking forward to my first vinyl hearing of this. Cheers!!!
ResponderExcluirI agree that 16-44.1 is the maximum audible! Thank you!
ExcluirI record with 96 kHz on each channel but I think trying the 24 bit encoding captures cleaner denser sound to my WAV such this one change to my old 16 44 sounds better so the freq’s get put in there somehow
Excluirt's up to our ears to decide, and if you're happy with it, that's fine!
ExcluirThank you, sir! I only had this on c.d and it's compressed crap.
ResponderExcluirGreat! Thank you Hotroder!
