The Rubble Collection CD series, which is absolutely not remastered, is missing vinyl numbers 7, 14 and 20, tracks 13 and 14 of volume 4 and from 13 to 16 of volume 19, so after having posted the first 4 volumes now is the time to post a vinyl, which of course I prefer.

16 songs from 1963 to 1969 that should not be missing in any self-respecting discography!

My personal favorite is Velvett Fogg, a band I've always loved madly since I first bought them about 30 years ago.

You can find the previous volumes here:

    1. Thank you rawkin' dog! At one point I had both the CDs and the original vinyl collections but somehow over the years, I think when I moved into my current apartment in 1999, the LPs disappeared. Which is a shame because they sounded considerably better than the CDs. So I really appreciate your efforts.

    3. Hi
I had the first 15 Rubble on Bam Caruso vinyl. Never saw the last 3-5.
When the first ones appeared on CD it was on the Edsel/Drop Out Label 1991 and that was volumes 7 and 10 only. I never bought them, partly because I had them on vinyl and partly because the Pye stuff was weaker, resulting in two of the least essential volumes. That said you are right to highlight Velvett Fogg who had a fine LP. I'm not sure why Bam Caruso skipped Yellow Cave Woman, which was their magnum opus.
I was told that when Bam Caruso got into difficulties they sold the (CD?) rights to certain material to Edsel/Demon who then reissued only the best selling material. No idea whether that's true. It was odd that only these two volumes appeared on Drop Out.
I concur that you are doing good rips. Thank you. Better than the Past & Present Box sets which I also own. I nearly skipped this one due to the reasons mentioned previously.

    4. JohnM I really have to thank you for the clarification you gave me! I didn't understand why Bam Caruso when they reissued the series on CD in 1992 had left out vinyls 7 and 10 and I never realized they had been released by Drop Put a year earlier.
