I love funk soul as much as rock and when when I'm away from home I listen to pretty much only the former!
I can tolerate rude people around me more...
This double LP is truly unmissable for anyone who loves MUSIC!
Just a note to mention that the great Jackie Carter actually co-wrote the song Power Company that opens Eric Burdon's 1983 album of the same name, a phenomenal LP!
Enjoy!

Incredible post Sir! Thank you for all you do. If I may ask, why don't you use Bestfiles anymore? Hoping no issues as I am still using it.
ResponderExcluirThanks my friend! The problem is that from Italy most of the sites are blocked for child pornography ... and Bestfile is one of the many and I can't afford a premium and with the free after 80 days if the files are not downloaded they are deleted and I couldn't keep up because you can't put them in any order and it was a lot of work ...
ExcluirSo my guess was correct, Europeans (at least in Italy) can't download my Bestifles? I use their option when uploading files to my free account to leave my files up indefinitely so the links shouldn't expire. Perhaps because they have 269 Gb of my data they could use how they wanted (perhaps to make money on them in the future?).
ExcluirThe problem is Italy, I don't think it happens elsewhere. However, if you change your IP address you can do it, but I can do very little with IP free. If it's a double LP it stops ... However, looking for the missing files in a list of over 100 was a waste of too much time. I recommend Mega, with each gmail you have 20 GB, I don't remember who gave me the tip, maybe it was you? 260 GB is a lot though, now I have 110
ExcluirYes that was me I had over 20 yahoo emails and just as many mega accounts. I keep alphabetical all my files as WAV and WinRAR and two copies of these folders created as I get more external hard drives in my methodical system as well as about 40 mp3 only back up folders of just my rips since I began. I will have to make you a link somewhere else like mega as care package of my neopaisley 7 inches eps and whatever that I think you would enjoy sometime cheers
ExcluirThanks again for the Mega tip, otherwise the blog would be dead!
ExcluirI also make a double copy of everything, I care too much!
Thanks, RD, for the funk. Can't wait to listen to this one!
ResponderExcluirmaybe you might be interested in this. In that case I suggest you go up to 1980, 99% of it sounds very good, there are only a few dozen compressed vinyls:

The link won't work so, which artist to whom you refer to?
ResponderExcluirYou must excuse me but I never remember that Rutracker has different accesses. Then write: Disco Funk VinylRip Collection. There are hundreds of disco/funk masterpieces!
ExcluirThanks RD, how did you find this? I've got a lot of funk from rutracker but I just search 'Funk'. That's brilliant.
ResponderExcluirI downloaded this at least 10 years ago, I wrote funk vinyl and put it in decreasing order of size and ... Back then it was only ... about 80GB, but as I may have told you the latest rips of Redacted are almost all compressed ... and so when I downloaded it again some time ago I added almost nothing to my collection and wasted a lot of time ...
