The debut of Dom and friends is more rock and less pop than the standards of the band, in any case and preference always an imperishable masterpiece!

Enjoy!

    1. I can't listen to 99% of CDs released from mid 1996 onwards, those produced in Australia since 1993 ...

    1. Because they have an increasingly pumped-up sound beyond belief, just open a 1992.3 CD and an Australian one from 1993 with Audacity or other similar programs to understand what I mean.

  5. This is the first time i've heard this argument. I think that also differs ftom cd to cd. Maybe there is on various hard rock albums. A lot of it is also a matter of taste and how you are used to hearing it. Does that have something to do with the fact that you only bring old things from the 60s to early 90s ? Not that it bothers me.

    1. I guarantee you that this is the case in 99% of issues and reprints. The word remaster actually means pumping sounds, the existing glitches are exactly the same. A sound like this hurts the ears and the mind, like anything they advise us to do. I listen to music with a good system and in 1997 I stopped buying music for about twenty years as vinyls were no longer produced and the sound of CDs was by now alien to someone who loves analogue. Then a few years later they exaggerated even more, arriving at the sound that Australian CDs, real laboratory cavies, have been producing since 1993.

    3. Vero! Un vinile portato BENE in digitale sarà sempre superiore al miglior CD mai prodotto.

    1. I will never be able to listen to them. I could, with Magix, do the same thing with my vinyls, but I don't even think about it.

  8. Ok, of course i respect your point of view even if i don't always share it. I have a lot of records lps & cds. But to be honest i much prefer cds to lps because the sound quality. By the way what about the wonderful recordings by Big Beat, Sundazed or even more recently Cherry Red Records ? But it is natural ok if you take that point if view. It also has something to offer.

    1. I repeat that sound disgusts me and is bad for my health. I have downloaded CDs that sound perfect, ALMOST like vinyl, but they are all pre 1997, there are exceptions such as the recent reissue of Deja Vu (4 cds and one lp), but they are the exceptions that prove the rule. They take the master, pump the sounds beyond belief and cut the peaks like when they parify the hair at the barbershop. Speaking of Cherry Red I downloaded this and trashed it: Creation Artifact: The Dawn Of Creation Records 1983-1985, pretty much dump and trash. However, everyone has their own tastes.
