An excellent 2000 compilation of The Poets (object of last Sunday's post) is entitled Scotland's No. 1 Group. I, on the other hand, despite considering it a great and unfortunate band that would have deserved better fame, but The Thanes are on another level.

This evening four products from the Scots of my heart: a 10 ", EP, 33 ⅓ RPM from 1990, a 12", 45 RPM, EP from 1992 and two 7 ", 45 RPM, Single from 2013 (the latter also released as CDr , Ltd, Promo, with an obscene sound). 16 songs one more beautiful than the other interpreted with a unique and inimitable style.
