Track B7 - originally performed by Murphy And The Mob - 1966
Last night while I was changing the YT tracks replacing them with mine, with a new rip, and I mistakenly deleted my second post dated 08/02/17, the present, after THE LIPSTICK KILLERS - MESMERIZER - 1984 FLAC - REISSUE CLOSER RECORDS - CL 0037 - 1985 (POWERFUL AUSTRALIAN GARAGE PUNK ACCIDENTALLY RECORDED LIVE ON CASSETTE NOVEMBER '81) http://bordeldorock.blogspot.com/2017/07/lipstick-killers-mesmerizer-1984.html.
In the second half of the eighties the great masterpieces of garage rock almost all come from the "periphery" of rock.
Something Weird contains 14 garage rock masterpieces, frankly apart from the first 13th Floor Elevators (here in double LP version https://bordeldorock.blogspot.com/2018/12/13th-floor-elevators-psychedelic-sounds.html), not I remember another album of this value
In Sweden some albums came out worthy of joining the gotha of the rock music, besides this of The Stomach Mouths, I like to remember The Nomads (2) - Where The Wolf Bane Blooms - 1983, Temptation Pays Double - 1984 and the Outburst compilation, also from 1984, The Wayward Souls - Painted Dreams - 1985 and Songs Of Rain And Trains - 1986, Watermelon Men - Past, Present And Future - 1985, The Creeps - Enjoy The Creeps - 1986 and Now Dig This! - 1988, The Wylde Mammoths - Go Baby Go !! - 1987 and Things That Matter - 1988 of which I posted a new rip: https://bordeldorock.blogspot.com/2018/01/the-wylde-mammoths-things-that-matter.html
Mamma mia, what an immortal masterpiece!
