Hillow Hammet - Hammer (1969 us, awesome hard/psychedelic rock) Flac
Originally released in 1969, Hillow Hammet's lone LP is one of the ultimate hard rock obscurities of the hippie era, an album so under-the-radar that its players remain unknown.
Of course - as the fine folks at Dodo Records know - obscurity is not always deserved, and this is one of the finest examples of that; shredding guitars and hyperactive drumming underscore heavy, throaty vocals inspired by Led Zeppelin and Steppenwolf.
This D.C. area band really knew their way around a hard rock riff and Dodo Records is pleased to present this classic underground hard psych monster!
