Formada em meados de 1970, Paladin era uma banda inglesa inicialmente formada por dois músicos de suporte do Rolling Stone e que chegou a lançar somente dois álbuns, ainda que completamente distintos um do outro. O 'Charge!' foi o segundo álbum deles e tinha uma pegada muito mais progressiva do que o primeiro, que explorava diversos seguimentos, passando pelo folk, psicodélico e até mesmo rock'n'roll clássico.
A capa do álbum foi feita por Roger Dean - que atingiu um reconhecimento muito maior ao fazer capas para o Yes - com sua criatividade surreal.

Having arisen in 1970, Paladin was an English band initially formed by two Rolling Stones backing musicians and which managed to put out only two albums, although both are completely distinctive from each other. 'Charge!' was their second and last album and had a much more progressive approach than the first one, exploring many styles, crossing from folk to psicodélico and even to classic rock'n'roll.
The album cover was made by Roger Dean - who became highly recognized by his album covers for Yes - with his surreal creativity.

Expected years of the second reissue, the more hard-rock (progressive than the debut)of the album forgotten, the British formations reminiscent of early Uriah Heep made with a hint of Procol Harum. I recommend!
