ENGLISH:
Formed in 1974, Tellah was the first and only progressive band from Brasília, the Brazilian capital. In despite of having released their debut and only album in 1980, they toured many times and became very known in Brasília musical scene and also played as supporting act for O Terço, Mutantes, Joelho de Porco e many other bands. Initially their musical tide was heavily inspired by Deep Purple, but after some line-up changes, they went towards a more progressive vein, borrowing inspiration from bands like Yes, ELP, King Crimson, and Genesis.

Although they spent a lot of time struggling to put out their debut album, partially due to their militarian regime censorship, Tellah disbanded shortly after the release of 'Continente Perdido' in 1980. The two live bonus tracks included on this reissue comes from a 1984 reunion concert requested by a shopping mall in Brasília.
